Misty View Cabin was the perfect refuge for my close friends and family to relax on the weekend of our wedding. It’s the closest rental we could find to Inn at Tranquility Farm, and the easy access and ample parking was helpful for our guests coming from far away. The outdoor fire ring and huge covered porch allowed us to really enjoy the beautiful outdoor space, and the view off the back porch really is incredible. The cabin was comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked. The owner was communicative and helpful, and even gave us an extra hour early check in and late check out, which really helped us as we had a car load of flowers that needed cool storage before the event!

Everything about this property was excellent; the host was a breeze to work with for check in and check out, the property had fantastic views, and the signs posted around the interior were especially helpful. When you leaf through the guest book, you can see Jorge has been doing this for a while, which is supported by the attention to detail around the entire rental process. Would (and ideally will) stay at this location again. Thank you Jorge!

Plenty of space, and views were amazing. Owner’s communication was the best! This town was actually better than Asheville by far for eating venues. Angelo’s was a favorite. The kids didn’t want to leave. One thing that was a pleasant surprise was at night looking at all the mountain homes across the way, they looked like extra stars. Also Blue Ridge Parkway can be closed for weeks at a time so be sure to look it’s access up close to your trip time if it’s important to your plans. We would love to come back again maybe in the Spring/Summer next time. Thank you for the experience!
